3. Purposes and legal basis of the processing
We process your personal data to provide our service and to process the contract (billing for charging sessions). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.4. Recipients / Categories of recipients
Within our company, employees are granted access to your data if they require it to process and execute billing.Your data is only passed on to service providers (data processors) when necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual obligations (e.g. support/maintenance of IT applications, data destruction). All service providers are contractually obligated to treat your data confidentially under a data processing agreement.
Regarding the transfer of data to recipients outside our company, please note that we only transfer necessary personal data in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. Under these conditions, recipients of personal data may include, for example:
- ChargePoint Networks (Netherlands) B.V. and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “ChargePoint”)
- Credit and financial service institutions (payment processing)
- Public authorities and institutions (e.g., tax authorities, law enforcement agencies) where there is a statutory or regulatory obligation
- Tax advisors, auditors, and payroll/corporate tax auditors (statutory audit mandate)
5. Duration of storage
Data regarding the billing of charging sessions is subject to statutory retention periods and is stored for six or ten years, respectively.
6. Rights of the data subjects
Every data subject has the right of access under Art. 15 GDPR, the right to rectification under Art. 16 GDPR, the right to erasure under Art. 17 GDPR, the right to restriction of processing under Art. 18 GDPR, the right to object under Art. 21 GDPR, and the right to data portability under Art. 20 GDPR.The restrictions set out in Sections 34 and 35 of the BDSG apply to the right of access and the right to erasure.
In addition, there is a right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is:

7. Necessity of data processing
The provision of your personal data is contractually required. However, without this information, we cannot grant you access to our charging stations.
8. Right to object
Right to object on a case-by-case basis
You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data by us, provided that such processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (data processing based on a balancing of interests).
If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
